Thanks to Paul Wainwright, Whittle Hall JFC have secured a coaches CPD session with Ian Bateman from Cheshire FA. Ian will be delivering a session that aims to support the club and it's coaches through the use of futsal. This is a great opportunity for coaches to have a look at how futsal can be integrated into kids game time and the huge benefits this can bring. The session will be on Monday 16th October 6.30pm - 7.30pm in the main sports hall at Penketh High School. We hope as many of you can make it. Can you please contact Dave Smith to confirm your place. We all love to celebrate on social media such as facebook when our teams have had a successful game and why not, it's great to see photos of children with their 'man of the match' trophies and big smiles on their faces! However please remember not to attach a name to a child's photo, DO NOT publish results or give very strong hints as to a result for non competitive ages under 7 to under 11's and absolutely no criticism of your opposition, refs, league officials etc. In other words follow The FA Respect Code. Failure to stick to these rules could result in the club been fined and even thrown out of the league.
To enable the club to continue to flourish and provide equipment, training for all our players we constantly need to raise extra funds. This is where you come in! We have a fundraising committee that is always looking for extra volunteers to help organise events etc. So if you think you can help be it in a small or big way then we would love to hear from you. Our next fundraising meeting is on the 20th September 7.00pm @ St Joseph Social Club. Please come and say hello all are welcome!
